095 ABPZ30 KNHC 011421 TWSEP Monthly Tropical Weather Summary NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 AM PDT Wed Jul 1 2020 For the eastern North Pacific, east of 140 degrees west longitude: Two tropical cyclones formed in the basin in June, Tropical Storm Boris and Tropical Depression Four-E. On average, two named storms form in the basin in June, so activity for the month was below average. In terms of Accumulated Cyclone Energy (ACE), which measures the strength and duration of tropical storms and hurricanes, activity in the basin so far in 2020 is well below average.
